Six easy steps to getting your property online

  1. Download and complete the Order Form and send it to us by post together with a cheque for £30 as deposit. This deposit covers registration of your new domain name and setting up site hosting.

  2. Upon receipt of your form we will register your domain name and set up single page website to show the name of your site and your contact details. This means you will be able to start using the web site address on any letters etc you send relating to the property. At the same time we will send you the Information Pack which is a clear, easy to use guide to the information we need to set up your website such as description of the property, the surrounding area, local attractions and facilities plus photographs. Typically this will be around about 2,000 words together with about 10 photographs of the property, gardens etc. (Plus up to 20 further photographs if you are using the Photo Gallery)

  3. You then complete the Information Pack and return it to us. Ideally the text should be produced on a computer eg using Word or Notepad and sent to us on disc or by e-mail. Photographs should be in digital form eg on a CD or a card from a digital camera or sent by e-mail. But don’t worry if you prefer you can simply write out the description by hand and send it with prints of your photographs which we will scan for the website. Any disc, card or photographs will be returned to you as soon as possible.

  4. Within 14 days we will contact you to let you know your draft website is ready. You can then review this online and tell us of any changes that you want to make.

  5. We will revise the website as necessary and at this stage ask you for the balance of the design fees. Your site will then go live and your property will be online!

  6. We will send you detailed information to enable you to make full use of:

E-mail account – details of the account and how to set it up using Outlook

Content Manager – full guidance notes together with your unique username and password

If at any stage you need any guidance or help simply get in touch by email or telephone.
